The Babb family will be facing some unanticipated challenges in the coming months. Jim Babb was recently diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma
and though the family is quite hopeful he will make a full recovery, the treatment will be challenging, potentially lengthy and will require that they travel to
and from UCSF. Clearly, in the best of circumstances, this will have an impact on the family and their boys, Mason and James Glenn.

Given the sensitive nature of any family crisis, please try to be supportive of the boys and the family, while also respecting their privacy relative to the specific health concerns. Please be especially judicious where the boys are concerned, as they are vulnerable and do not want to be questioned about their dad.
